JAMIE OFFICE MANAGER
Jamie is our Office Manager and has been working at West Side Family Dentistry since September of 2012. Jamie is responsible for working with both Medical and Dental insurance, scheduling and creating office reports. Outside the office, Jamie enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends.
MANDY DENTAL HYGIENIST
Mandy began her dental career graduating from Illinois Valley Community College in 1997 with a certificate in dental assisting. After receiving her dental hygiene degree in 2004, Mandy began working at West Side Family Dentistry in 2005. Mandy enjoys getting to know the patients and their families. In her downtime, Mandy enjoys spending time with her family, running and reading. Mandy is one of our full time Registered Dental Hygienists.
KORA DENTAL HYGIENIST
Kora joined our West Side team in September 2018. She took her first job as a dental assistant when she was 17 and has been working in the dental field ever since! Kora received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Parkland College in 2003 and is one of our full time Registered Dental Hygienists. Kora is married and has 2 sons. In her free time, Kora enjoys spending time with her family and friends and following her boys to their sporting events!
VANESSA DENTAL ASSISTANT
Vanessa has been with West Side Family Dentistry since August 2014 after her completion of her Dental assisting Certificate at Illinois Valley Community College. Vanessa is one of our bilingual assistants providing comfort to all of our Spanish speaking patients. Vanessa is our Orthodontics Coordinator. In her free time, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her family.
LYNSEY FRONT DESK
Lynesy started working with our team in 2015 as a dental assistant. She has been our Front Desk/Financial treatment coordinator since October of 2017. Lynsey is in charge of scheduling, filing insurance, financial agreements and much more. She’s a Fur Mama of two beautiful puppies. Lynsey loves football, gardening and spending time with friends and family.
AMY DENTAL HYGIENIST
Amy has been with us since 2004. She graduated from Parkland College in 1988 with her associates in Dental Hygiene. Also received her Bachelor’s in Science with Dental Hygiene Major and a minor in secondary education. She is past president of IDHA.
RUBY DENTAL ASSISTANT
Ruby has been here since 2018 and is our newest dental assistant. She is one of our bi-lingual assistants. Ruby has enjoyed learning the dental field and getting to know the patients. In her free time, Ruby loves spending time with her family.
SAMANTHA DENTAL ASSISTANT
Samantha has been an assistant here since 2017. She is the TMJ and Sleep coordinator. Samantha enjoys working with all the different kinds of patients and continuously learning new and better techniques to help our patients. Samantha is also the proud mother of a beautiful pup named Oso. You can normally find Sam dancing and singing along with the radio.
NICOLE speech language pathologist/feeding specialist
We would like to introduce Nicole to our practice. Nicole joined the West Side Family Dentistry team in January 2020. She is a speech language pathologist/feeding specialist, who does myofunctional therapy for our patients. The purpose of myofunctional therapy is to retrain the muscles and to obtain a normal resting posture of the tongue, lips and jaw. The approach to therapy emphasizes training in the correct resting postures of the tongue and lips all with the goal of facilitation proper nasal/diaphragm breathing. Nicole’s goal is to assist with good mouth development. Good mouth development leads to good speech and good feeding development. Welcome Nicole and we are so happy to have you a part of our family!
